Monkey Business
#004: Monkey Business
I’ll be honest, here. I love the Monkey Island games. Mostly Curse of Monkey Island, because that game played a huge role in my childhood. Sadly, the older games came before my time, but thanks to Steam, I plan to change that soon. I also purchased all five chapters of Tales of Monkey Island on the Wii some time ago, and despite some technical issues, the thrill of the series was still alive and well, for me.
The future is looking grim for the series, but here’s to hoping we’ll see more someday. Also Star Ocean.
Guest Comic by IceWolf762
Hey, people. Guess what time it is? New comic time? Nope, not yet. I will make one today, though.
While I was procrastinating (see: PSU), significantly better artist and possible Timmy Turner enthusiast, IceWolf762, has produced comedy gold in a Photon Art Guest Comic. Actually, I’m not sure if it should even be called a Guest Comic, because A) It’s better than mine, and B) Jess (in Photon Art) is based off of IceWolf762’s rendition of Jess (in real artwork). While our top scientists sleuth out the answer to that, though, please enjoy the following comic by IceWolf762.
You can check out IceWolf762’s deviantArt page here.
Expect another post sometime in the next few hours to eight years.

Youngster Champion Joey
Well, I still don’t have a comic. Whoops.
Here’s something to entertain you until next time, though. I got bored and made this in Minecraft.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to call some people and tell them about the shorts I may or may not be wearing.

I’ve Got Nothing
Truth be told, I was hoping to start doing weekly updates on, say, Mondays. It would have been nice to maintain a schedule, but procrastination. Not like it matters, with no advertisement and pretty much no readers. Just wanted to share my slice of crazy. I guess this is my way of saying that I’ll get to that comic when I get to it, and if anyone was expecting one yesterday: whoa ha ha ha ha ha.
I will say, though, that I’ve been in a bit of a creative odd spot these past few days. I want to work on “something,” and that something has a lot more meaning to me than Microsoft Paint webcomics. I have the drive to work on it, but getting started has proven to be a hurdle that has stood in my way on more than one occasion. You know how it is; procrastination. I guess if I wrapped this up, opened up a Notepad and did that thing where I smack the keyboard and words appear, I might actually be able to get something accomplished.
…Probably not.

Useless
#003: Poison Lily
Decided to do a PSO comic, this time. And by “decided,” I mean I gave a list of comics that needed to be done to multiple people, and asked which one they thought I should do. Only three people responded, and two of them (Mag and Jess, incidentally) wanted this one. I’ll humor the third person who wasn’t AFK by doing their comic suggestion next time. Hint: It’s a six-panel comic.
Some enemies in games are there to be a minor inconvenience to the player. Mostly, they come in the form of bats. Keese and Zubats, specifically. There are no bats in PSO, but all things considered, I think Poison Lily suits the role well. To Androids, they’re a joke. The only threat they pose to the supreme garbage compactors comes in the form of a quick nip at close range. Not threatening at all. And I think they stop being a threat to Humans and Newmans once they’ve acquired Anti; if they’re poisoned, it can be cured. If they’re paralyzed, wait for the poison attack to override the paralysis, and cure that. God help us all if status afflictions actually stacked.
…Scratch that. Poison Lilies would still be useless.
